A little background
Based in Brea, CA, Maverick Common Goods is a small business crafting leather goods made by hand. In its early stages, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the founder and was tasked with designing a brand logo.

Crafting an identity
To start the design process, I already had a nice head start. The founder provided me with sketches of what they had in mind for the overall design, and allowed me to put my own spin on it. It went through a handful of iterations, but the final product is a perfect interpretation of the early sketches.
